Neon Tiger

I don't wanna be kept
I don't wanna be caged
I don't wanna be damned, oh hell.

One last night

So we made it beautiful and the morning was beautiful too, so beautiful I couldn't stop crying.
Our resolution to enjoy our time together made me feel strangely loved and happy and it was the most perfect time full of open conversation, tenderness and great food. Our goodbye was casual with a 'see you soon' attached and I meant it when I said 'I love you'.
But sat at home alone now it seems incongruous. I am now utterly alone and it will take me the next few weeks to feel the full effect of that because right now all I remember is our wonderfully loving morning together.
To not be able to speak to you every day as I have for a year and a half will slowly and painfully break my heart bit by bit.
